Ooh Anne! What a great idea this is! I’m so happy that you are sharing it here. And yes, the kitty prints, while interesting, can sometimes get in the way of our practice. I used to have to do these things when I had a cat too. Now I have to make sure my cotton watercolor paper stays out of my dog’s view or he likes to chew on it! xo

Lots of storage, and when I’m done, I just close the doors so no one sees it all. Since it’s in my living room that is really essential. Also lets things dry without cat prints in them!

I am an eclectic tidy artist/crafter with messy craft rooms. With your blog ideas getting more organised. I am amazed at how people craft in small areas. I have a few tips of how to keep your art work when completed. I get freebie old large picture frames A1 to A4. Using 2 frames the same size I remove one glass, add panels of wood to each side of the frame to create a box frame. Add hinges to to the front frame a magnetic clasp and handle. Glue the front glass in place and add a few tacks. Enjoy painting and decorate the completed frame ready for hanging out of childrens reach. Most hold approx 20 pieces of art work. Each day I remove the top water colour, acrylic painting and place at the bottom of the pile to reveal a different picture. It often inspires me to use the painting to make a book cover, card or journal. If you add shelves they are great for inks, paints etc. Also useful in my garage to keep moisture away from paper. My garage workshop has strings across the ceiling that i use to peg pictures up to dry in the summer months. Art is an essential part of my life and mental well-being. Thank you so much for your wonderful encouraging inspirations.
