I have years & years of stuff in my studio. I’ve been told I have “more supplies than product”. I truly need to clean out so much unused stuff! I find it hard to part with my stuff but I think you’ve got the right idea and I’m going to give it a shot! Thanks for your great ideas!

I like to keep a range of different papers in a collapsible documents file.
I also use a small tray on my desk with papers that I want to work on soon. These might be small pieces of water colour or handmade papers.
At the end of a session I will clear my work desk and then leave perhaps a piece of paper, object and pen or paint brush next to it. This for me creates a tempting little invitation to come back and do more.
It also makes me tidy up as I like the creative process of leaving something that creates an invitation for myself.
My desk is on a landing/corridor in my house which isn’t perfect but actually by walking past it does keep the creative juices flowing.
I would like to be considered for the free draw to take part in the course. I like how the information about it mentioned organising a studio area even in a small space.
So inspirational!

My husband and I are in the process of renovating our basement, part of which will be my art studio! We just finished painting and installing the flooring tiles. I’m so excited to reorganize my art supplies and get rid of the materials I don’t really need. I just retired after 40 years of teaching elementary school and I’m thrilled to have the time to create art! Thank you for your suggestions!
